Uns alle vereint die Vorstellung, ein Festival zu schaffen, das vertraut und enthusiastisch ist, Spaß bringt, nachhaltig agiert und nicht kommerziell ist sowie die Schaffung eines diversen Bewusstseins für Musik, Kultur und Leben in der heutigen Zeit als Ziel verfolgt. Ein Fest, das einen richtig rausbringt und trotzdem um die Ecke ist. Ein wenig Eskapismus bei gleichzeitiger Auseinandersetzung mit den Herausforderungen der Realität.
Wir sind das Team-Tarmac, Freundinnen und Freunde, Familie, Bekannte und Unbekannte, Crew, Neugierige, Kreative, Kunst- und Musikschaffende von hier und dort, Halle und Leipzig, Jena und Berlin, der vielen Orte mehr, näher und ferner noch. Und wir haben Bock! Mit Euch wollen wir für vier Tage eine Atmosphäre schaffen, in der wir Freiräume erschließen, uns selbst verwirklichen und wohlfühlen. Schon der Entstehungsprozess ist Teil des Zieles von dem wir nicht wissen, wann es erreicht sein wird. Das Tarmac Festival vermittelt nicht die eine Vision. Dafür sind die Menschen, die dieses Projekt ermöglichen, viel zu divers.
Mit großer Vorfreude schauen wir auf den Sommer 2020. Seid Gast, Seid Freundin und Freund. Kommt vorbei und macht mit!
